"As you requested, I have been working with my construction company on their fastener problem. They are attaching ½" plastic strips over 5/8” fiber board on a condominium complex. They have a 16ga. metal strip behind the fiber board to hold the whole thing together. Metal siding will then be attached to the plastic strips for three stories up. The wood to metal screws they wanted to try did not always “catch” the metal strip and pulled out. I convinced them to put a compressor in their lift, gave them some 2” NailScrews® and a loaner NR83 nail gun to use. This worked great for them. They came back and bought two NR83’s, two compressors, and three boxes of 2” NailScrews®. I’m sure they will need more NailScrews® for this project. This is a great example of this products versatility."
